The new laboratory bench with the FANUC CRX_20iA/L collaborative robot is operational, representing a step forward in laboratory activities and the development of automated applications. The presence of an additional servomotor expands the robot’s capabilities, enabling its use in more complex tasks and the handling of conveyors or rotary tables. The station also includes a 3D vision sensor with the appropriate mount, designed to be able to develop more complex applications such as Bin Picking.
The distinguishing feature of this system is the robot wrist load (Payload) of up to 20 kg. This capability allows for more demanding collaborative applications, enabling the robot to work synchronously with a human operator.
This approach not only increases efficiency but also eliminates repetitive, alienating and unsafe tasks, greatly improving the work environment.
